So I planned on calling the doctors today and completely forgot it was Martin Luther king jr. day so they are closed and I will be calling tomorrow. My one month old has a bad rash that will not go away and I’ve tried everything for over a week now. I’ve tried different creams and even breast milk and I’ve stopped using wipes and use baby washcloths and water and then let her air dry for 5 minutes before putting a diaper on. I’ve also tried different diapers and it’s not getting better. The diaper cream seems to just irritate it more so now I’ve just been putting aquaphor after every change to keep moisture out. But the rash is red and shiny wnd the skin looks raw almost like a burn. Has anyone’s babies had this and know what caused it? Like possibly yeast or some kind of infection?
