Is this normal?

So in my last period I’ve noticed a VERY strong odor. I thought it was gonna go away after my period but when it went away my discharge was smelling very strong too. Is it normal??? It’s not itchy or anything, just white and creamy… and I use a menstrual cup. Am I safe?
