So about a week ago I got a letter in the mail stating that I needed to make an appointment because my NIPT test showed abnormal results.

So after worrying and researching, I went to my appointment today ( at 15 weeks ) and had an ultrasound done and I asked the doctor about my results and told her about the letter. She checked them on her side and their side and said that made no sense because the results were good, then she mentioned something about a carrier screening and not having done it this time since I did it with my 2nd baby a year ago so that's probably why they flagged it as abnormal.

Basically she told me the baby was fine, so I'm glad that my baby GIRL is healthy (as far as I know) and has nothing genetically wrong with her.

( Side note: we did confirm by ultrasound that I am having a baby girl after 2 boys 💕 )
