Herpes😖

So I just got my first herpes outbreak and i honestly didn’t know how i got it. i’ve been with my boyfriend for a year exactly and he say he hasn’t been sleeping with anyone and i haven’t been sleeping with anyone since 2021 and we’ve done it raw before but ive never gotten anything like this.( we’re long distance) and this month was the first time he gave me oral sex and afterwards at night i felt itchy and i didn’t wash my hands so i just scratched myself hard with my acrylic nails and i started bleeding. later on i ended up getting little blisters so i went to a doctor in mexico (we’re on vacation) and she gave me medication for a vaginal infection but i ended up getting blisters on my lip and my eye got infected (i wasn’t being careful) and i went to a gynecologist in mexico and she didn’t test me but she said it is hsv-2 so she gave me some medication, but being in a catholic hispanic home i don’t know how to tell my mom. Also i don’t know if my boyfriend might’ve had hsv-1 but didn’t know and passed it on orally since i know he gets bad acne sometimes.
