Gender reveal party or no??

This is my first baby and I was wondering if people generally recommend having a gender reveal party or to find out the gender on our own and announce it that way?

I think gender reveal parties are absolutely asinine. Finding out the gender is super fun, but there doesn’t need to be a party for it. We waited until birth w our first, and I recommend that to anyone. It was a magical moment when my husband told me we had a boy. With our second, we found out on our own. We still did a little “reveal”, but it was just my husband, my son and me.

It’s completely up to you!! Nothing wrong about ANY of these choices. I’ve had friends do parties, announce online, keep it all private, and I even have a friend now who is waiting to find out at birth! Do what makes YOU happy ❤️
