The last two days are your MOST fertile days. Ovulation happens second to last day, eggs lasts 24hrs which is why there's a fertile day after ovulation. The other days are there because sperm can last upto 5 days.

Then I checked a clear blue ovulation calendar it said  I was fertile from February 7th to the 16th and I had sex on the 12 to the 16th
