Madeline Pronunciation?

Question

Due with baby girl in May and love the name Madeline with the LIN ending sound vs. LINE. I always assumed this was how it’s pronounced in US with this spelling but now worried it will be confusing! I don’t like the LYN ending as much so don’t want to use that. 
Wondering how everyone would pronounce the name Madeline?! Thank you!!

I say line unless corrected. Similarly I read Caroline as Carole-line and Carolyn as Carole-lynn

I actually came across a thread of people debating the pronunciations not too long ago lol. This name has always been tricky for me. Every time I see it, I never know which one it is. I say just keep the spelling and people will just ask if they don't know which one it is.

Named my daughter Madeline and we pronounce it Mad-a-lin. The French version, Madeleine pronounces it like line at the end. But we don’t even call her Madeline, she’s been Maddie since the day she was born, unless she gets in trouble lol.

Personally I would say Madeline as Line, and Madelyn as Lynn. But you are the mommy you can do whatever you want!

When I see this name or someone who has this name, I usually just ask them what they go by or how it’s pronounced. I’ve had people say “it’s MadeLYN” or “it’s MadeLINE”. I think people will pronounce it however they pronounce it but you or your child can always correct them as well. I make it a point to try and pronounce names how the person pronounces it. 
My name is Stacey and sometimes I’ll get people with accents who pronounce it “tacey” or “Stecy” but I recognize that they’re trying and just have an accent. I don’t give people too hard a time. Lots of times in emails, people misspell my name as well, which is something I’ve grown up with lol again, I don’t let it bother me. I think people just don’t pay attention but I’ve personally always paid attention to people’s names, their spelling of it and how it’s pronounced. Or if they have a nickname, I try and call them by their preferred nickname. Someone’s name is the first thing you learn about a person and it’s a glimpse into who they are as a person. 
I’d just correct people if they mispronounce it.
