My partner and I just had our first ultrasound for our 8 week appointment and without consulting with me takes me to his moms job to show her the pictures which she took and ran off with to show her co workers which I have never met and when I we walked in the building I heard a woman say “you dont even like the girl” my bf tried to convince me she wasn’t talking about me but seems too much of coincidence. I am so upset because his family is terrible at greeting me showing me any type of acknowledgment and respect yet his 4&5 year old nieces understand to greet me and him when we go over to see the family. I am so upset he didn’t prepare me for that situation because hello I am clearly hormonal but I was raised to show emotion unlike him and his very cold mother. My theory is that she hasn’t liked me since I moved here because he wanted to support me I never asked for any of this I didn’t ask to become pregnant when we spoke about having children it was something of the future but I accepted it because we are here now and I know he was excited to learn I was pregnant. For reference I did quit my job before moving here to start my own business which has been a struggle but we both knew this would be the case going into this. I can tell he is hurt but I feel so hurt as well and I just want a solution and respect from his mother. I already told him anyone who disrespects me about my pregnancy is done in my life I won’t tolerate it. Please anyone tell me they’ve had this experience and it gets better 😭
