Membrane sweep?

I’m curious as to if anyone has had a membrane sweep? Did it help and how far were you. Interested to hear your stories! My cervix has not progressed pass 3cm.l and I just had one done at 2:30 today.

With my first I had my membranes sweeped in my 38th week. Exactly one week later my water bag tore and started to leak but not completely. I was admitted that night and had my son the next afternoon. It worked for me. I had been having contractions for about 3 weeks at this point.

I had a membrane sweep with my 3rd at 38 + 6. I was 3 cm. I had contractions for 2 days and they stopped. On Friday we knew the sweep failed. I went into labor at 4:00 am on Sunday morning and 3 hours later my 3rd was born. I didn't even know I was in labor the first 2 hours and was barely in the hospital bed when she was born. The nurse barely caught her and there wasn't a doctor in the room for another 15 minutes.
