Do I need a new breast pump for 2nd baby?

I have one i got through insurance in 2020. I’m about to have another baby and will need a pump. Can I use the same pump I used in 2020 or should I get a new one?

You can use it. Why not get a new one that insurance provides and use the old one as a back up.

If it’s free from insurance, then yes get one.. why not? It’s nice to have multiple. Bedroom, living room or whatever. Work, home. Etc.

You can definitely reuse it!  I got a new one and used it as my work pump and then  used my old one at home so I didn’t have to pack it back and forth. It worked just as good as the new one even after sitting for almost 2 years

I reuse & get a new one. Doesn’t hurt to have 2, especially if the insurance covers it. I plan on getting a hands free one I can use at work when I have to return from maternity leave.

I’m planning on reusing my spectra from 2020. I’m just gonna buy new parts. But my insurance covers a new one so I’m gonna get a hands free one as I don’t plan on pumping as much this time around and just want something easy for while I’m out and on the go.

I got a new one. My insurance covered it and I wanted to try something else. I had the Medela and now I have a Spectra. I figured why not.. if insurance covers it.
