Anyone else feel like they just can’t catch up?

I feel like no matter what I do, or how hard I try, I cannot catch up with money! My refund was 5,000. Already gone 3 months later, bills, daycare fees, daily life, groceries, buying nursery items. Nothing even worth showing I spent the $$ on like credit card debt. I put away 1,000 in my saving and ended up needed it for rent as I had to have surgery left me without pay for a month. (I got $200 back in disability for being a full time employee making $20 an hr LOL) so all that money had to be spent and it goes quick. I just got my state refund back, 1k less than it was supposed to be and my car is a 1k fix! So there goes all that $$. I wanted to save for maternity leave. I just feel like no matter how hard I try I cannot keep up it’s always one thing after another and this economy is so expensive to live on.
