Hi all,

I have just been prescribed progesterone pessaries and use my first one last night.

I’m 10 weeks tomorrow. Had my first OB appointment a couple of days ago. After reviewing my file and giving another quick scan her is concerned over the placement of my subchorionic hematoma and would like me to use progesterone until 14 weeks.

I originally had odd rising hcg. As below:

9/3 16dpo 138

22/3 19dpo 179

26/3 23dpo 980

30/3 27dpo 2600

2/4 30dpo. 6900

We then had a scan at 5 weeks to check for ectopic pregnancy, bub had a good heart rate and placement. Bub was measuring a couple of days behind.

Then at 8 weeks I had another scan. Bub was measuring right on time and caught up to where I thought I was. But my sac was measuring 10 days behind.

My OB scanned me and said the shape of my sac was his favourite type and looked like there was enough room- although he didn’t take any measurement. Could see bub and a heart flicker (his machine wasn’t great).

My question is for those who started progesterone later in the first trimester, did you get any symptoms from it? Did you get some light cramping?

Any info on this would be great! Thank you!
