Who pays?

If you’re married who pays when you guys go out for an anniversary dinner??

WE pay because the money belongs to both of us in a joint account. There's none of the, "I paid last time to you have to pay this time," or any of the his vs mine. It's all OURS.

There is no “mine or his”, it is simply ours. And that is now a marriage should be. You BOTH should be paying.

Um well my husband is the breadwinner so I guess he pays for everything. Lol if I had a job it would just go in our joint bank account & we'd both use it as necessary. There is no his & mine when it comes to money.

What? Every penny that comes in is ours. We have joint accounts, it doesn’t matter what card is put down because it’s our money.

We’re engaged, getting married later this year. Unless it’s a birthday/ surprise of some kind, we have a joint credit card that we use for eating out. We pay it with our joint checking account. So both of us. 
If it’s a birthday or surprise, then the other person pays the bill with their personal card. This isn’t something we plan on changing when we get married.

My husband pays for everyday anyway. From bills to food to upkeep to luxury etc. while I take care of the home and kids. It’s a really nice balance for us. But we are Muslims hence part of how it is islamically.
