Afterbirth stitches healing

TMI question, I’m sure. But I have never heard of this before. I checked to see how my stitches were healing after I tore during birthing my daughter… And I noticed that there is a little protruding bulb, it reminds me of a hemorrhoid. But it’s in my vagina. I’m not even sure what to call it to look it up and figure out what it is. Has anybody else experienced this? Everything else looks good, stitches have dissolved by now, and everything has healed up nicely. It’s just this one protruding little ball of some sort. Not sure what it is? Can anyone help me? Has anyone had experience with something like this?

And yes, I will be talking to my midwives about this. But, I’m hoping to hear from other women who may understand what this is or have experienced it.
