Negative tests WHY?

Maybe someone else is going through this too.

My period is 12 days late. Normally I would just assume that my cycle is being weird this month and everything is delayed. I am trying not to symptom spot but it’s so so hard. I was on a work trip for two weeks and got back yesterday and my partner immediately said “did your boobs get bigger? They look huge” and they do!! They also HURT. So bad that I couldn’t go for my run. Sometimes they’re sore before my period starts but it’s been a week of soreness. I’ve had mild cramps for the last four or five days. This has never been a PMS symptom for me before. I am exhausted, and nauseous until noon most days. But tests are negative negative negative. Has anyone been through this? It’s so frustrating. I know that at this point a test would be positive but I keep convincing myself maybe I’m just some anomaly and my test won’t be positive until eight weeks or something lol. Just looking for some support
