Diflucan ok at 29 weeks?

My Ob prescribed me due to yeast infection, but when I picked it up the pharmacy told me they were concerned since I’m pregnant??? I’m so confused 🤯 baby should be ok righhhht..?

I was told by my drs that it’s not a great idea to take during pregnancy, it can sometimes cause miscarriages. I’d stick with OTC creams if you can. I’ve had reoccurring yeast infections my entire pregnancy (27 wks now) and I’ve been DYING to get diflucan, but the risks are just too much for me.

I know woman who took it while pregnant. As for me I took with when I wasn't pregnant. I had a horrible reaction. I had hives for weeks. I got steroid shots, creams, and pills to stop the reaction. I'll never take it again.

You’re fine. I took it around 23 weeks, I’m now 31 weeks with a healthy baby.
