Getting actual labor started
I’m 38+1 and am scheduled for an induction (possible C-section, TBD) on Sunday at 39 weeks. I’ve been in early labor on and off since 36+4 and I’m tired. I can’t sleep at night because I’m having painful, keeps me awake contractions every 7-10 mins from about 5:30-8:30pm, 10:30pm-4am and again from 5:30-7am. So I’m getting little to no sleep. If I can’t get labor started, id just like to make the induction process easier since I’m so drained. So far I’ve tried:
Resting, relaxing, snuggling with my husband and 4yo
Using my vibrator to O, lots of foreplay (my husband is afraid to have sex lol)
Lots of showers
Evening primrose oil orally and vaginally
Spicy food
Curb walking
Side facing stairs
Deep squats
Rolling on the yoga ball
Nipple stimulating
Dates and raspberry leaf tea since 34 weeks
Pineapple juice
Gonna try pumping tonight.
Am I missing anything lol. I’m definitely not over doing it with my efforts and doing what feels good to my body. I went into labor with my first at 38+5 so I’m hoping this little one follows suit.
