Did any of you have alcohol before you knew you were pregnant? Is your baby healthy now?

I had to take a pregnancy test before getting an xray, and it was positive! I'm super excited, but I had 2 glasses of wine last weekend and 2 the weekend before. Did anyone else drink before knowing they were pregnant? How is your baby's health now? Thank you!!

I may be wrong but I think the baby is fine in the early weeks bc the placenta is not formed yet and you aren’t sharing nutrients yet anyway. Something like that. But basically it’s totally fine.

I had alcohol right before my missed period because I tested negative. Three days later, I got a positive test. My son turns 4 on July 2nd.

I did, ironically the most i had was three the day i thought my period came as i was feeling down (wasn't a period it turns out!), then two another night & a glass of wine with lunch the day i found out!(before i found out) my midwife said nothing to worry about and so far so good 25 weeks pregnant - not had any alcohol since i found out.

Oh absolutely fine! I Conceived in Japan in beginning of march on vacation and also got engaged so we had the time of our lives one night and went crazy on drinking and baby is absolutely perfect and healthy still. Pregnancy before that I had no idea and went to get food and drinks and had a 12 ounce margarita and felt off when I came home took a test and a positive instantly and that little boy is now 2 and absolutely fine
