Mom asked for money on my birthday

Sorry if this isn’t the correct group to post. This is my first time posting on here so I will be anonymous because I know people can be evil.

My mom has been on her full time job for 20+ years. She complains about her pay but when I tell her to find another job it goes in one ear and out the other. My mom and her husband have both asked me for money at least 4-5 times this year already. They always ask between $200-$400. I’m to the point where I dont want to communicate with none of them because they are becoming a EXPENSE. Since it’s my mom I feel guilt if I say “No” because she knows my husband and I are living comfortably (below our means). I am to the point where I no longer want to communicate with them because they are becoming a “BILL”. My mom received 20,000 last year from a lawsuit and it was gone with 3-4 months. She is horrible with managing her money.

Lastly, recently on my birthday she asked for $200. She said I hate to ask on your birthday but…. 🤦🏽‍♀️

If you have tips or tricks on how to resolve this I appreciate it.
