For about 2 years I was going to my hairdresser for balayage and my usual retouch, toner, trim, style. I was paying $60-$200 depending on what I was getting done. But my hair would become so brassy after a week or two so I would go every 3 weeks or month for toner and style ($60) and $200 when it was retouch style trim the whole thing. But I’ve since then moved to a new state found a new hairdresser and my hair doesn’t become brassy so quickly and lasts a long time. I don’t know if the other dresser didn’t have a good technique or if she was just taking my money because I tipped good so she would do a low quality job so I’d come back very often. I’ve just never heard of people going every 3 weeks to the hairdresser. My mom skips toning and her hairdresser just does a retouch every 2 months.
