yes it definitely can! I had DMER with my first that lasted for a few months, it was horrible, it wasn’t as bad with my second and only lasted a few weeks

I always get nauseous when I have a letdown. With my first I had DMER and it was so bad I’d actually gag, dry heave and actually threw up a few times. That eventually resolved after a few months. This time I just get a little nausea but it passes after a minute or too and doesn’t happen again every time I feed.
