I e-filed myself through turbo tax back in January. My return was accepted by the IRS & sent out end of February where my bank then rejected the return. It was sent back to the IRS on February 23rd & I’ve confirmed this myself through my bank & turbo tax 5 times since then. Turbo tax took their fees & all. I’ve been waiting for this return to come in the mail for literal months & it is most definitely not coming. I contacted the IRS over 60 days ago where they stated they haven’t reissued anything & told me they can’t locate the return!So they initiated a refund trace & it would take no more than 60 days. I called again today to see where it may be since the time frame was up & they told me nothings been done & they don’t know! Basically told me they’ll initiate another trace with management & to just wait. I don’t have time to wait anymore! My car is breaking down & I’ve been relying on this return for my family now for far too long. It’s already been 7 fucking months! I’m going to a tax advocate in the morning to see if I can get some answers or possibly have it expedited!

Has anyone ever dealt with anything similar to this? Everyone I know who’s bank has rejected their return has never waited even a fraction as long as what I have. I’ve done everything the IRS has told me to do since the day my bank rejected & still no money😢
