Infant feeding advice 🙏🏻
My baby is almost 10 weeks old and screams and cries after every bottle. Immediately after we take the bottle out of her mouth it starts and she usually only calms down once she burps a few minutes later, so I think that is likely gas related.
She has started spitting up after every feeding which wasn’t happening before. It’s not a huge amount but still wondering if there’s something else we should be doing. She’s 11lbs 4oz and taking 2.5oz every 1.5-2ish hours but sleeping through the night most nights. The pediatrician suggested we try and give her 3oz but whenever we do that she spits up more and seems more miserable. We don’t know how to make her more comfortable or how to make sure she’s full and keeping the bottle down. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome 🙏🏻
Other possible relevant info: she has a lip and tongue tie, her tongue tie was corrected but has apparently reattached, I’m exclusively pumping and we feed her with the evenflo balance wide nipple bottle (we’ve tried dr browns, tomeetippee, and more but went with these because they appear to not let in as much air when she’s drinking)
