Dumb GD question
So with my son I had gestational diabetes and unfortunately I lost him at 35 weeks. He was 5lb 10oz. He wasn’t under or over weight. And no the gestational diabetes didn’t cause him to pass. We have no answer to why he did.
This pregnancy I have it again and I’ve lost some weight but I’m hoping this baby won’t be huge like people have been telling me. I’m eating right and doing what I can to maintain my weight and sugars. But is it just one of those unpreventable things? Will my daughter be bigger anyways?? Is doing what I’m doing enough so I can have a good weight for her when she’s born?
I only know one person who gained so much weight and had a 10lb baby with her gestational diabetes. But she also didn’t care to manage it and her goal was to have a huge baby. No judgment but poor baby had breathing issues when he arrived. Everyone else I know maintained their weight and sugars and have good sized babies. One was a c section due to her daughter coming out face first which I didn’t know was a reason for a c section.
