Brown period blood?

I need some advice
I’ve been on my period for 5 days now, it started of very light brown bleeding, and I was expecting it to go red after a day or two but it just stayed the same flow and colour. My period was a week early too. Is this normal?

That happened to me once about 9 years ago. I figured that it was my period coming early but it was a dark brown blood the entire time. Nothing heavy at all. I didn't think much if it because I had a lot going on at the time. I realized about 2 weeks later that it was a "weird period" and that my period wouldve been about a week late from when it was actually supposed to start. It was implantation bleeding and I was pregnant 🤦🏾‍♀️.

What cycle day did it start? Brown blood is old, oxidized blood.
