My cycle after birth control for the last four years has been semi regular with one 50+ day cycle in one 12 month period (we’re looking into pcos). The first day of my current cycle was June 22nd and my period ended June 26th. We confirmed ovulation on July 6/7, had sex on July 3 and 7th, and I started spotting on July 13-18th. My periods almost entirely consist of bright red blood and are actually fairly heavy in the beginning, so at most the bleeding/spotting was only ever super light compared. My question is, does this disqualify us from getting a positive when my period is due on July 24, or is there still a chance? My research says it could be implantation but for how long it lasted, I’m very much discouraged. I’ve been testing like a maniac for the last week and have gotten some inconsistent faint lines but only on cheapy blue dye tests so I’m chalking it up to evaps.
