Can I get sued

First I would like to say this isn’t my job specialty and was recruited by a friend because she wanted to work with me . My friend ( we will call her maddie) part of the night life industry working as a dancer and we were hired by this random girl I don’t know but for maddie was referred by her company to these people , Maddie works for different companies as a dancer and this was something she doesn’t normally do and worked for as a shot girl , she knows more than me and told me that it would be 150$ for three hours plus tip, she sent my photo to the girl and she accepted me and said we will do a FaceTime (to see if we were legit ) we did a FaceTime and I honestly didn’t even pay attention to who she was but she was saying that she gets girls to work for diffeeent parties etc, so no we did not work for her prior we didn’t sign any contract but just went off what she said , she wrote messages saying that it’s a cop party and we will have to wear this and that and we agreed however she was very unorganized and I got suspicions whether this was legit or not , Maddie sent me the dm on Instagram how the lady wrote to her saying “It's 3 hours $150 I have to check to see if they're paying cash or not and they' will probably give a tip”. Those are her exact words, to Maddie as in FaceTime on our part we didn’t record anything or sign anything , and as of we know she never said she recorded the call and if she did it was without our permission . Now we are in a group chat and she tells us that she will be sending it to us through Zelle but Maddie didn’t have Zelle so we offered many ways that she can send the money , so as for now we are aware that it was 150$ for three hours plus tip, the place was three hours away and we did our job like was asked and at the end of the night we looked for the owner of the house that was not even the guy who hired us , the guys friend hired us from the girls company , so once we finished we looked for the owner for further instructions where to put the plates and get our bags we brought from inside his house and he pulls out money and gives us 220$ each , so I’ve worked as a cocktail waitress before and I know that I get tipped well the man did not say it was tip or our pay we figured it was tip because the lady said plus tips and he was very drunk and didn’t say anything so we all said thank you and left , we finish the job and text the lady that we’re done and she doesn’t respond for a while and even send her pics like she asked, she responds the day after and doesn’t pay us and says she’s on her way to another gig and she still doesn’t pay us until she pays Maddie and didn’t pay me two hours after which is fine because I understand people are busy I just a thought I was getting stiffed we said thank you and it was through Venmo by the way, now I’m spending the day doing whatever and she texts us saying she is on the phone with the owner of the house and saying we got paid double by accident and explains that in her contracts the owner doesn’t pay us directly and we are not always given a tip however we were not shown a contract and only went off on what she was saying and she said to send 200 back not even 150 that apparently we were supposed to be paid she offered to give us the clients number and never gave it and we were just trying to figure out what was happening she then says that her friend is a cop which was the guy who hired her to get us for the owner of the house and it can go legally however she didn’t even give us time to even think about the situation and wants us to send her back money that was a misunderstanding on her part after back and forth and I always watch what I say on text that can be used for evidence I ended up blocking her on Venmo and blocked her number because she was then calling me a theft saying I stole her money when it was handed to me and she venmoed me the money that was the pay rate she told us. and she kept calling me when I was clearly busy , so my friend ended up giving the money back because she works in the industry and the lady follows the businesses she works for and didn’t want to get a bad reputation which is understandable because I don’t work in that industry and I was just a add on I guess I am just a little worried that she mentioned that her friend who hired her was a cop and can take this legally but truthfully it wasn’t even my fault and I didn’t sign anything and I didn’t force her to give me the money and one would of thoight it was tip and I just want to know if I can even get in trouble for this that was completely not my fault ,alll she has is my full name and email and my face but I don’t live anywhere they lived and I didn’t do anything wrong so I just need opinions
