Getting hair dyed while pregnant?

Is it safe to get your hair dyed while pregnant? I’m wanting to go back to my all natural hair color before baby comes in September.

I just asked my OB office this and they do not recommend hair dye or nail salons in the FIRST trimester. Probably because so much is developing.
