Confused and need help

Hello all! I need help and I'm really confused. I've been on the depo for 3 years and been off it since January. I got my first period in april. After that ive had it every month but its been a week to a few days late. My doctor says everyone is different. Obviously...... but I'm also been trying to get pregnant and having it come late hurts. I guess I'm looking for some guidance, someone to tell me to be patient or experience. Thanks
