When to take a pregnancy test

So me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex 07/22 I supposedly ovulated that day 🤷🏼‍♀️ (I don’t actually know the date I ovulated didn’t track it) but I forgot to take a plan b that night so I did it the next day plan b’s usually work for me so I thought nothing of it until my boobs started hurting for the past 2 days not the normal boob soreness you get when you’re about to come onto your period it’s more intense it feels like little stabbing pains on the sides of them I was supposed to start my period yesterday it may come today I heard it can be up to a week before your period starts so if it doesn’t come today I’m just wondering when do I take a pregnancy test? 🤔

Just a helpful thing to know, plan B doesn’t work if you’re already ovulating. Plan B works by pushing your ovulation off. When ovulation is pushed off your period is as well because your whole cycle changed. Plan B can also affect your cycles following as well. Apps are just an estimate of your ovulation so you may not have even ovulated that day. For reassurance you could take a pregnancy test which would be accurate by now, but if negative I’d wait for your period to start or retest in a week.

you can test now hunni. general rule is to wait until the first day you miss your period but there are lita of people who test way before and.find.out.they are pregnant. ill keep my fingers and toes crossed you get the result you want xx

If your period is a day late a pregnancy test should be accurate by now. I got faint positives before my missed period with 3 of my pregnancies
