I’ve had a friendship with a guy for several years. The last couple years it seems we’ve gotten closer and our friendship feels much deeper. I often feel like we have an almost soulful connection and he’s also said things insinuating the same thing, but it’s all very subtle and passive on his end. Sometimes I think he’s feeling me out, other times it seems like mixed messages. Knowing his history, he usually lets women make the first moves before entering a relationship. A lot of people tell me that I should always let a guy do the pursuing… that if he doesn’t chase you now, he never will. I feel very confused and torn because what we have seems special and very real, but a part of me wants to keep it platonic unless he would make a real, concrete move.. Any thoughts or advice welcome.
