Found out last week that our daughter is estimated 8lbs2oz at 36w. I am diabetic but my sugars are controlled, so they are assuming she’s just a big girl as her dad was almost 10lbs. Our first daughter was only 7lbs 1oz when she was born.

I was informed at 35w if I don’t have our daughter on my own at 37w-39w I would be induced. I have now been told by my specialist my OB will likely talk to me about a c-section due to baby size and my diabetes.

My question is this.. HAS ANYONE BEEN INDUCED EARLY DUE TO BABY SIZE?!? The tech at my specialist office said OBs don’t do that, they will opt for c-section… and I’m terrified🙃 I meet with my ob Wednesday and plan to discuss this with her, but I’m just curious!
