Mamas who have experienced stillbirth, when did you try to conceive again?

My daughter was stillborn July 1st at 37 weeks. My heart is completely broken. I feel so incredibly lost and desperate for a baby. Emilia was supposed to complete my family and while I know that another baby would never replace her I know it would bring me a lot of joy. 
So mamas who’ve experienced loss like this.. how soon did you conceive? Did you go on to have a healthy living baby?

Dear Sofie. So sorry for your loss of Emilia! Sent you a digital hug.
We lost our daughter Aagje in 2017 with 36 weeks (2nd pregnancy). I recognise the feeling. We started trying directly after the loss. It took 5 months before we were expecting again. Even biught a moonstone as I hoped it would help to conceive. It felt as if it was a Elefant pregnancy that took just much longer than the 9 months. We went into the pregnancy with trust that it would be ok. It really helped me. We received 2 daughters after Aagje. Now I am expecting in september. Although we have had a loss at 36 weeks (2nd) and 17+5 (5th a year ago) we still feel it is worth it and can enjoy the pregnancy. For me it never felt as if the other daughters were a replacement. I did read among others a dutch book during the pregnancy named always a child too little (altijd een kind te kort).

So sorry for your loss! It’s a pain like no other 😩 we lost our son Everett at 40 weeks in 2021. Because it had taken us 4 years to conceive him, we went the IVF route and conceived our daughter 9 months later. The pregnancy was terrifying, but I knew that God had a special plan for our little girl. She will be 2 in a couple weeks 🥰 best of luck to you and I hope you get your rainbow baby ❤️
