Going to a fancy ass baby shower and found some pretty floral floor length dresses as well

As a pretty rose pink smocked dress but I’m wondering if I should avoid pink since it’s a girl? The theme is purple so I’m thinking mama to he will be in a lilac colour. Maybe I’m overthinking….
