My son had been begging his dad for a kitten for two years. I'm allergic so he can't have one over here. His dad finally caved 4 months ago and got him a kitten. He's 15 and has gotten really attached to the kitten. My son texted me asking to pick him up because his dad killed his kitten. On purpose and skinned it. I didn't believe him at first but his dad admitted to it. He said the kitten was making him "weak" and he doesn't raise weak men. I picked him up. His dad lives in a small kind of redneckish town and they don't really care about animal abuse. The cops won't do anything there. My son doesn't want to go back over his dad's house but there's a custody agreement. His dad thinks he was right. If he had an issue he should have rehomed the cat and I said that but he wanted to toughen our son up. What can I do when there is a custody agreement?
