I had unprotected sex 7th August (my prediction for ovulation was 2-3 days after that) my period is two days late as of today and all I’m having is discharge and now light pink.

Even if you ovulated the 10th of August you'd be 15dpo today and that's out of the normal range of implantation. It's most likely your period starting.
