Went in for our second ultrasound today! We got the same intern as last time and she's super sweet! Still couldn't see anything abdominally (too constipated 🫣) I know TMI but it kinda worried me at first when she said she couldn't see much. We got to see our little bean and a beautiful heartbeat of 139 beats per minute. We didn't get to hear it though because the supervising tech said that the internal dopplers put off too much heat on the baby. That was something I had no idea was a thing! I had heard it before on my last pregnancy and I had several transvaginal ultrasounds. IDK maybe that could have something to do with my miscarriages and problems that caused my stillbirth. I could be way off but I'm not going to ask to hear the heartbeat during an ultrasound again just because I'm extra paranoid. This will hopefully be my first time making it to viability 🙏She said she couldn't tell me what I was measuring at and I'm a little disappointed with the pic I got because she took so many better ones. It actually was looking somewhat like a baby and I ended up with a blob pic 😂 Still so relieved my bean is growing and has a strong heartbeat! We're two very proud, very excited parents to be!!!!
