I recently had a Pap smear and found out that it came back abnormal. I have another appointment next week for them to look at it more.

I have so many questions that I’m gonna ask my dr, but any of you ladies dealt with this ???

I had my last Pap smear 3 years ago in 2021 and it was normal.

I started dating my current bf after my last pap, so I wonder if he gave it to me.

Now I get my Pap smear this year, and I have it.

I read online that your body can get rid of it in 1-2 years. But I’m worried because does that mean that I’ve hard it longer ??

Also, is it ok for my bf and I to continue having sex? Does that put us at more of a risk for oral cancer ? Or him for penile cancer ?

Because whether he gave it to me , I’m sure he definitely has it now too. But there’s no test for men.

So I’m worried about him as well.

Any advice ???? This is just devastating 😞
