So I’m currently 34+3 second baby, how did people know if they were leaking amniotic fluid or not? Basically I’ve noticed for a while my underwear can be wet a few times a day, but then can also have sticky white looking discharge and then also some days I can smell a clear smell of wee so I thought that was why, but today I’ve noticed down there I smell sweet (tbh I feel like the best way to explain it is it’s a semen smell but I haven’t had sex…) I had a scan on Thursday that said my fluid levels were 7.9cm but just worried that It’s not that I’m just weeing myself, I had low amniotic fluids with my first but I don’t recall leaking anything, would you go get checked out or not? I have a community midwife appointment on Thursday so do I just wait til then or go get checked when my partner gets home from work and can watch our son?
