6 weeks. Always get cleared by the doctor before you have sex. You can risk your life not doing so.

With my first we tried at like 8 weeks but it was too painful. Didn’t try again for a good couple of months. can’t remember when but by the time she was 9 months out we were back to our pre pregnancy sex life. With my second, we waited 6 weeks.

Got cleared at 8wks with first (csection) didn’t actually have sex until 4m pp ish. And with 2nd for cleared at 6wks and have no idea when we actually did as my daughter was in the hospital and getting chemo as a newborn. No sex drive what so ever with that stress.

I think just short of 4 weeks was my earliest. I had to convince him I was fine. After my first it was like 6 weeks and that was a mistake. Think it depends on yourself really. Doctors have recommendations but it is your body and your choices.
