Me and my best friend bought tickets to a concert last year, and the concert would have been yesterday if she didn’t ditch me. The tickets were 60$ and we have been looking forward to it for a whole year. The concert was on a weekday which wouldn’t be a problem for me due to my work schedule, my friend however is a student and started college a couple weeks ago. She lives hours away from me so last month I asked her how we should travel there and I got no response. I asked her again last week on Thursday and she said that she couldn’t come because she has classes. She started college in august and would have been aware that classes would have hindered her from attending the concert but didn’t tell me until days before the concert. Now I have wasted time and money and the tickets will go to waste because it’s too late to return them. She offered to pay for my train ticket to go visit her some other time but honestly I don’t care. This isn’t the first time that she’s bailed from plans last minute without informing me earlier. It feels like she just forgot about it and didn’t bother to tell me.
