Bad experience with anti-anxiety meds?

Question

I recently got on anti anxiety meds which was lexapro but experienced disassociation which scared me so so bad. I completely stopped taking it, but now I’m scared to try any other meds at all. I’m scared nothing will work for me and I’m going to end up way worse than I was. Any advice please. 😟😔
Edit: I stopped cold turkey because I only took a low dose for two days only.

First advice, don’t stop taking stuff like that cold turkey. You need to talk to your dr about wanting to be off of it and they usually taper you off. 
Second, not all meds will make you feel that way. You have to be open and honest with your dr. Some work for some people. 
But the most important thing is communication with your dr.
