I recently had my first pap smear done, about 11 days ago. 3 days after I tried to be intimate with my partner and it wasnt feeling right, a little uncomfortable/painful. So I chaulked it up to the pap and decided to wait. I got my period the same day. Now, a day after my period ended, I tried to be intimate with my partner again and I had the same uncomfortable and a little painful feeling again. Ive been intimate close to/during my period so I know this feeling is very different to just menstrual pains. I cant find anything to suggest that a pap smear should cause prolonged pain like this. Is this normal? Do I need to wait longer?
