If you want to know the science, there is no difference in pregnancy nausea between male and female pregnancies. There is however a very small difference in the condition hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), with a small percentage higher instance in female pregnancies, though nothing to write home about. Essentially it happens with both. I had HG with my son. And my mother and sister both had it in their pregnancies. My doctor said it’s more likely to be an inherited propensity toward hg and pregnancy sickness vs any relation to the baby’s gender.
