Blood spots in uterus?

Question

I had a viability scan today(I’m 5 weeks 6 days)which showed a baby measuring 6 weeks and 4 days WITH A HEARTBEAT! Heart rate was 117 but she did mention blood spots but didn’t really say what that could mean. Of course I googled it and mostly saw worse case scenarios. She wants me
 back for another scan on October 2nd…so soon and it has me concerned.
Does anyone happen to know what the blood spots could mean?

Sounds like a weird way of describing a sch. If it is a sch 80% of them resolve on their own without issues. Some women don't even have any bleeding. Others, like me with my last pregnancy, have bleeding for months with clots. I would have them explain more because if you do it's very important to be put on pelvic floor rest. I can give you all the dos and don'ts if you want to be extra cautious until you can talk to your doctor.

Agreed with what the other ladies said, quite negligent for them to not give you more details, and I learned about this the hard way myself so if I can help someone avoid what I went through I’m happy to share info.
For reference though, I had a hemmorage that last from 6-21 weeks and now have a very healthy almost 3 year old. 
I was advised to:
- avoid lifting anything over 10’lbs
-no excessive exercise, walking was okay
-avoid sex
I’d recommend taking it easy until your next appointment when they can clarify and give more exact information for you.
