My husband was adopted when he was 2 and his adoptive family never treated him right. They made it clear he's adopted and not actual family. My husband met his biological mom and that was a disaster. He was taken away from her because of neglect he doesn't remember and meeting her was her making it clear she did what she did because she didn't want him then and doesn't want him now. My husband's best friend was over and my husband got really drunk and started crying. We both comforted but he put his head in his best friends lap and said nobody loves me.
