Find out gender or wait?

This is our 3 rd baby first two we didn’t find out and loved it but I also wonder what it would feel like to find out gender but I also don’t want to regret not feeling as surprised the day of? I sound crazy I know. But we can’t decide which to do?

For me personally, I wanted to feel more connected to my babies than I did before finding out. Don’t get me wrong, I am DEFINITELY attached to the little humans who are made of the best parts of me and best parts of my husband! With both of ours, we had a girl name and a boy name already picked out before knowing genders, but there’s just something so beautiful about knowing who you’ve got growing in your belly after they tell you “you’re having a boy/girl!” Like we don’t go any amount of time longer than necessary just referring to them as “the baby”. We use their name to really personify them the entire pregnancy. That’s just us though, ik some families like to keep the gender to themselves, or don’t share names until the birth, etc. Everyone is different and has their preferences! We also hate surprises 😂

i do everything super themed, matchy matchy, stereotypically gendered baby style so i prefer to find out lol. not that im gonna push that on my kids but its so fun when they’re itty bitty. also forms a bond with baby for me.

I found out with my first 4. I ended up with 2 of each. My next 2 were surprises when they were born and it was so fun, both boys. I found out again with my 7th as we were dying for another girl after 4 boys and girl it was. Now having #8 and I think we are finding out this time again. Another girl would round out my family perfectly! I think it’s amazing you waited with your first 2. Seems easier to wait since you’ve done it but also if it was a boy, I could see more spoiling as I assume he wouldn’t be wearing much of the clothes you currently have for your girls. Clearance sales get me wanting to know 😆. The baby will be a blessing either way. Had my 3rd pregnancy not been a miscarriage, I would have had 3 girls right away.
