At the beginning of my pregnancy (6 weeks), I told my doctor that I believed I had BV. They told me that they didnt want to give me Metronidazole (Flagyl) now because it was risky in the FT. I said okay, I go back because I feel a little pressure at 11 weeks, and they test for the BV and it comes back positive. The midwife prescribes me Flagyl and i said the other doctor told me not to take this. She said the pros outweigh the cons of preterm labor. I get my Mcdonald Cerclage Monday and I still haven't began the medicine. Im just worried.

Anyone take this medicine in the first trimester??
