Not sure if this is the right group, i'm just a tad annoyed at this point lol

Im part of the "are we dating the same guy?" group for my area, and my uncle was recently posted...a couple months ago my aunt finally came forward that he had been beating her, along with fueling her drug and alcohol

problem to get her so intoxicated that she couldn't fight him off when he wanted to do things sexually that she wasn't consenting to while sober

she showed us pictures of the bruises, the text messages, and also my cousin confirmed she heard everything and seen everything for years, he was eventually able to get to her again and the cops were called and he was arrested, not sure if he was charged 100% with DV but from what i was told he was

this is where i might've fucked up, when he was posted i wrote he has serious drug and alcohol problems (which he does, he's my uncle and he's been involved in my life for a long time until recently, i've seen the drug and alchohol abuse myself) and some woman came in the comments stating i was wrong and she's known him since highschool and a bunch of other stuff, i later commented that he was my uncle, and i was more than aware of his substance abuse as well as physically abuse towards his ex (i didn't mention sexual)

this was about 6 weeks ago, and last week my mom got a message from him (he's her brother) stating that i need to delete my comments and if i didn't he was gonna post everything he knows about her on his personal facebook page and threatened to make her life a living hell, she called me asking me to delete it to save her the drama so i did, but now im hearing from family he's trying to get the cops involved for what i said

really doesn't make sense to me because he did what he did and if he didn't want people knowing he shouldn't have done it, my aunt told me he didn't want me knowing cause he knew id call him out on it (which i did obviously) can i be charged?

if he wants to try charging me honestly that's fine, i just wanna be prepared, i don't regret sharing the info if i can save another woman, cause i know what he's capable of, and the more he gets away with it the worst it's gonna get for future partners
