My almost 4-year-old son is exhibiting abnormal angry behaviour. He will get so angry and yell and scream at me for strange reasons. This morning, was walking him on our pathway to the driveway for his ride to school and I didn’t follow our pathway (stepped onto the grass instead as it was quicker) and he lost his mind on me. Screamed at me to follow the path! I said it’s ok, this is faster, and he said no!!!!! Follow the path now!!! So I just did it to avoid an argument as his ride was waiting for school.

He’s also gotten mad for just small reasons and loses his mind and has tantrums. I just don’t know if this will be something he will outgrow and if it’s typical toddler behaviour.

I had him tested for autism at 2.2 years old as he wasn’t talking yet and he was assessed and was just considered a late talker.

Anyone else experience very angry toddlers?

**Also to add, he takes a van to school instead of a bus and the driver got a new van (different colour) and when it arrived, he started freaking out and crying saying it was different. I didn’t even notice! I know toddlers like routine but I just don’t know when this behaviour becomes extreme…
